Laguna Beach is a seaside village of
25,000-plus residents ideally located halfway
between Los Angeles and San Diego.
Featuring seven miles of beautiful
Pacific coastline, Laguna offers 30 public
beaches and coves, 19 city parks and 17,000
acres of surrounding coastal wilderness.
It’s an ideal destination for biking, hiking,
walking, cycling, kayaking, fishing and
bird-watching. From mid-December to early
April, beachgoers can spot migrating whales
from our shores.

The village’s beauty—reminiscent of the
Mediterranean coast—inspires the hundreds
of working artists who live here. Laguna
Beach’s quaint downtown abounds with art
galleries (more than 60), antique stores,
unique shops and restaurants. Cultural
happenings take place here all year long, including a monthly Art Walk,
the renowned Festival of Arts and Pageant of the Masters, and the
events of the Sawdust Arts Festival.   We are also home to the Laguna Playhouse, one of the oldest continually operating theaters on the West Coast; and the
Laguna Art Museum, a museum of American art with a special focus on the art of California.

In addition to our unforgettable natural and cultural attractions, Laguna
Beach offers a perfect base from which to explore the endless possibilities
of Southern California. Many golf courses, some with spectacular ocean
views, are nearby, as are such world-renowned theme parks and attractions
as Disneyland and Disney’s California Adventure, Knott’s Berry Farm, Legoland,
the San Diego Zoo, SeaWorld, Universal Studios, the historic Queen Mary and
so much more.
